I can't confirm what the system works like since I haven't received mine yet but according to the press release it should be a one shot system. Is yours the 2010?

navigation system enables drivers to simply speak an entire address in one,
simple command versus a series of multi-step dialogs and response commands for
city, street and street number. Drivers can now simply say "1 Wayside Road,
Burlington, Massachusetts," and the route will be calculated automatically.

With Nuance`s next-generation Music Search capabilities for automotive, BMW
drivers can quickly and easily access their favorite, stored songs from behind
the wheel by selecting the audio source, genre, artist, album or song with a
simple, spoken command. Nuance Music Search also recognizes several languages in
parallel. So a French-speaking driver can look for a German song title or
English album, and vice versa.

did you go to Fairfax BMW? because i was suppose to pick up my 2010 last tues 9/29, and they been saying the EXACT same thing and i still don't have the car. they said it'll be available sometime this month. We got plenty of cars through them but this is a new one.

Been working with bmw fairfax, my boss just picked up a x5m and TONS of cars in the past (m5,m6,x6,335,m3) and they know us pretty well so i doubt they are lying. I did have my doubts until i saw this thread.

i'm korean i know how to make a scene, arms flying up in the air !!

No I got it from BMW of Richmond. The dealers aren't lying, went through the same thing with my 2005 645cic when it first came out. Problem is trying to figure out how long it will take to get to us.

My car's been held for 2 weeks already for the EPA inspection. When it comes it comes. My salesman told me the EPA has thousands of cars to inspect. He said all 7's and M's need the inspection. My friends 1 series came over on the same boat as my M and his car was at the dealership last week getting PDI'd and detailed while my car is still at the port. Let's just say I was pretty heated. On the brighter note I sealed the deal yesterday selling my E46 M3 so now its all about the E92.

I'm with you. My car has been at the VPC since yesterday according to the OC.

mine has been at the prep center for almost 2 weeks. I have a Jerez black with absolutely every option that is stuck in Brunswick GA. My dealer told me I would have it last thursday (10/1)or friday(10 days ago now). I talked to the dealer Friday 10/9 and was told that this EPA crap should be over and that I should have the car by Tuesday. I'll believe it when I see it at this point.

This is just harassment IMO.

I hope your dealer is correct. My CA just got back to me and said my car was scheduled to be released to the carrier today.

I bear good tidings. Just now got a call from my dealer. EPA has released my car, picking it up at the Performance Center in South Cackalacki next Tuesday, earliest they could get me in. Good luck everyone. I expect you'll all be hearing what I just did. Now...SAY AMEN!! lol

any updates? I would've thought as long as mine has been sitting there that I would've heard something today. According to the website and phone number, it is still at the prep center.

TDAWGMD: Is yours at the port at Brunswick? How long has it been for you? Mine arrived at the Brunswick port yesterday and of course it has not been released.

I got an email from the Performance Center today. Confirmed my production number, and itinerary for pickup next Tuesday, like my sales guy told me last night. So I'd imagine if yours has been in port for awhile, you'll be getting notified any time now. Good luck

Ditto. No news on my car either, it's been at JC for more than a week now. I really hope I can pickup before nov. I'd like to get some serious driving in before the weather turns too foul
