It's all about timing.

My car when pretty quick from order to production, to port, and finally to shipping out. Luck finally ran out. Car arrived in Brunswick GA on 10/12. Dealer is estimating that it willbe there until 10/26. Don't think it's EPA hold because they have estimated date.

That blows. Wonder what the delay is all about?

That sucks. My delay was getting the slowest boat headed to the east coast. My car was in transit for 3 weeks. I hope the added time at the VPC isn't because of shipping damage. From what I have read here they only have to disclose damage to the dealer if the repairs cost more than 3% the value of the car.

Its weird. I would think they would have trucks coming more often towards San Antonio. My CA said right away last week that it was anticipated towards the end of them month, like it was scheduled that way all along. I hope/think that if it was secondary to damage that they wouldn't have an estimated delivery date all along. What do you think?

You may be right. It could just be about the trucking company's routes. All I know is that my car reached the port on a Saturday and was at my dealer in Fort Worth the following Thursday. Maybe I just got lucky with the trucking company.

It just seems strange that it has to wait two weeks to catch a truck to a state that is as big as Texas, particularly with "sold" unit supposedly getting priority one status throughout the whole process.
