Cayman S. A very nimble and capable vehicle.
Why don't you test drive them both and decide for yourself? We're not going to be driving it... you are.

GTR hands down.. It's way faster than the cayman and it's definitely a mans car.. I can see rich girls in caymans.. 911's are different though..

Cayman S looks better than the GTR, but the GTR is a better performance vehicle. I have heard tho, that Nissan is super-strict about the warranty on the GTR and there are a ton of things that will void it.

Cayman S is for females? Lordy.
A friend dumped his GT-R for the sole reason it beat him to death on city streets. I have never driven or riden in one. ![]()

The GT-R is very nice. I've never driven a Cayman, but I've been in one. The GT-R feels nice like the M3 but as mentioned much much faster. There isn't as much room as you would think (no one is fitting in those back seats and they don't fold down for more space in the trunk), but there is more space than a Cayman. I've taken the GT-R for many trips, and I will say that the ride is a little rough. The seats don't have lumbar support like my M3 and the ride isn't as good due to the low profile run-flats on the 20" wheels. That said we have no regrets.
If you are planning on doing more than a couple track days a year, get the Cayman as Porsche club is the biggest, and the GT-R is extremely expensive on the track. The running maintance costs of the GT-R are nothing short of a Ferrari, and if you do take your car to a track or even a dyno, you have voided your warranty. Warranty isn't that big to us, so we bought the car knowing that we wouldn't have one.

Love the Cayman S but since I need seats in the back (even if they are small) it's the GT-R for me.
