Guys,

A good friend of mine from Niello BMW in Sacramento, CA tipped me off to a ///M3 that was special ordered for one of his clients who ended up backing out of the deal. I dont know if theres any rules as far as posting for someone who works at a dealership, but I figured this car is a pretty rare find, so please forgive me if I'm breaking any forum rules.

So here goes, its a 2010 DAKAR YELLOW e92 M3 with black leather. Car comes with the ZPP (premium package), ZTP (technology package), Double clutch, 19in wheel option, PDC, iPod adapter and satellite radio. The car is coming in port in the next few weeks and I'll get pictures up as soon as the car gets into the dealership, but I wanted to give you guys a heads up as I've only seen one other Dakar Yellow M3 on the forums and that one belongs to the guys at IND.

I think that one of the reasons that it is so hard to get BMWUSA or the dealers to order special colors is that too many people back out of the deal. It will be interesting to see how quickly someone else picks this car up.

Oh...the other Dakar Yellow E92 on these forums doesn't exactly "belong" to IND but they certainly did work their mod magic on it.

so the only incentive for someone who is already interested on ordering Dakar to pick up this car is that " I don't have to push my CA or dealership" ?

doubt it. The second LSB M3 sat in long beach BMW's inventory for the longest time. Heck, they might even still have it.

People think twice before dishing out $5K for a paint job.

Not only do they want the $5k for the paint, but they also want a $12k bump OVER list!

Greedy SOB's..... So they think they can sell this M3 for $17K over any other M3 w/ same options but w/ a factory color......

Anyone who is willing to wait 8 weeks and want to dish $5K for a paint job can get this car.... Why the 12K mark up????..... I-diots!

This is par for the course for the morons at niello. Before I bought my (now lemoned) 335i, i went to niello because they had a black on black sedan that i liked that was left over from the year before. the idiot salesman kept trying to convince me that he couldnt budge from sticker... i bought elsewhere and saved about 6 grand. sometimes i wonder how places like this stay in business...

Frozen grey would be the only one i'd even consider. I'd rather save that money and get a nice full exhaust system + custom tune
