conservative vs. Liberal?

If a conservative doesnít like guns, he doesn`t buy one.

If a liberal doesn't like guns, he feels that no one should have one.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.
If a liberal is, he wants to ban all meat products for everyone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative is gay, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is gay, he loudly demands legislated respect.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative doesnít like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they donít like be shut down. (FOX)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesnít go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God or religion silenced.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a conservative hates healthcare reform, he attacks Obama personally, states bad qualities about Obama that have nothing to do with his performance as a leader and whines about socialism and communism without actually thinking about what those words mean.

If a liberal likes healthcare reform, he whines about Fox news slanting facts about it and how O'Reilly states false facts (conveniently ignoring the fact that O'Reilly is paid for his opinion) while looking for as many ways as possible to call out conservatives as being "God-fearing and idiotic", and talks about the horrible shape America is in healthcare-wise while repeating facts from Michael More movies without actually looking up where Michael More actually got those "facts."

An independent looks at the pros and cons from a healthcare reform by looking up hard data from multiple data reporting agencies and governmental data and makes a decision for himself while keeping himself from being another one of the sheeple influenced by the close-minded groups that we call political parties.

If alcohol is legal and causes many many drunk driving deaths, then why not marijuana. If prostitution is legal in Las Vegas, then why not everywhere else?

People should be able to do whatever they want as long as they dont hurt anybody else. And if you screw up your life on drugs or whatever, nobody is gonna come bail you out. Thats how it should be.

That list is awesome btw. However I agree with the liberals on one point. The vegan thing.

That is the primary legitimate purpose of the U.S. government. It is to protect us against invasion.

See now why can't people see that both Conservative, and Liberal ideology are wrong for this country, I mean come on our country is not 50/50. What happened to actually representing your constiuents and not just your ideals.

Conservative's are afraid of change and want things to stay the same even if the ship is sinking, and Liberals are to pussified to stand by the change they want and don't know how to stand together.

I would also say that this idea of your's is also a Liberal concept, since most Conservatives would not think twice of legalizing either. Most supporters of these are Liberal. But the Conservative train of thought is the "if you screw up your life on drugs or whatever, nobody is gonna come bail you out."

I agree with you on both here as well. Why not legalize both of these. First you would gain the tax revenue from them. Secondly I think you would actually lower some crime rates by actually having some oversight in these industries.
