BMW Welt

oh and as i arrived in munich i was greeted with BMW saying welcome to germany on all the screens in the airport.
and when i left i had the opportunity to see the 5 series GT sitting on display. as well as seeing it being driven in the Bavarian countryside with the roundel covered up

When were you there? I was there Monday and they did not have all the cars out that you saw. They had more X1's and 5 series Gt's then anything. Its an awesome place though, I loved it, and the factory tour.

i was there during the summer actually, in august, visiting family. i just joined this forum and decided i should share some pics. I only saw 2 5GT's in germany, and they weren't even in the Welt! i didnt get to do the factory tour:/ they were closed that day. but yea it is an awesome place

When I was there, that area to the left of the main entrance was FULL of the 5 series GT. The only e92 they had was a m3 coupe. The X5 M was on display though....made me really wish I could afford one

Congrats!!!! I love going to the Welt...me and some buds (all BMW owners) took a trip down there...cloudy and ugly on the drive down...then the sky opened up and the weather was absolutely perfect when we got to the Welt...I also got to take my Mom and Sister there and immerse them in the whole BMW Culture and experience...as well as some good beir at the Hofbrau Haus...great times!!!!

me too! it was so hot when i went, took some of my family and friends there too, very fun. haha yess the hofbrauhaus! did you eat at the m1 cafe??they have excellent food, it is now one of my favorite restaurants in the world

Thx YeaJBL... I love pic 11 of the 1920's BMW motorcycle... just stunning.

You bring back great memories of my visit in 2008. Someday I have got to pick up a new BMW in the center of that space, and then drive it out to the autobahn, and then head to the Nurburgring, and then sit down to a huge dinner of schweinshaxe and a liter of brewski!

yesss the pickup is pretty sweet, one of my goals is to pick a bmw there. haha sounds like you'll drive the crap out of that car when you get it!! yesss with a huge schnitzle a liter you cant go wrong
