Clear Corners Turning Yellow

After getting these clear corners about a year ago I've noticed that they have been turning yellow. I think these clear corners have aged rather poorly as just one year out in the sun shouldn't have cause them to go bad that quick. I'm wondering if one brand of clears is better than others? Has anyone else had a similar experience or maybe yours have done better than mine?

Here are some pics. Notice the color difference between the factory headlamp clear and sidemarker clear versus the clear corners (now yellowish).

I'm looking for a better clear version as well. The problem I've had since day 1 has been the moisture that builds up in them. Mine are from Modbargins.

Yup I've gotten the moisture buildup as well. Every time I wash the car, it hangs out for a couple days. Forgot to mention but mine are from BavarianX.

Mine build up moisture as well. That's why I ditched them in favor of painted. However, I still like the look of clear better. All the clear reflectors are made by the same company in Taiwan, so no matter who your vendor is, they will all suffer the moisture build-up problem.

that sucks dude. I debated long and hard to go with painted or clear. I never considered the aging. Luckily I went with painted reflectors.

I bought mine from **********s and started to notice them yellowing after about 11mos. That's why the orange ones are back on. Not a big fan of painted so stock it is until a better clear option comes around.

And crappy fit too (gaps, especially on passenger side). And yes, ALL clear reflectors are 'DEPO' brand. I also wanted clear reflectors, but not this bad . And painted reflectors look like patches to me, so reluctantly decided to stay stock.

If somebody found a way to 'bleach' the OEM ones into clear, it'd be perfect . Otherwise I'm staying stock.

Smoked FTW!!

Almost a year later and no yellowing, no noticable moisture after washing either.

I'm a happy camper

personally, I hate the look of the clear ones. Smoked is better, but still an eye sore.
I say go painted (to match body color) or stick to orange.

OR have them filled and painted for the euro bumper look.

smoked is a better color by far when compared to clear

If they're like the E46 ones, they are cheap Taiwanese units that are not very well made. No way to keep water out from behind the stamped chrome "reflector" and the lens. Spray tint them or replace with painted.
