where is this car in Mass?? i swear i looked at that exact set up bf i got my car. if that car is at Foley Motosports then they have been sitting on it for awhile so low ball away

to answer your question a PPI is a great thing to do. if the dealer doesn't let you do one then in my op they have something to hide plain and simple. i don't care what the car fax says or the service history the PPI is just as important. i had alot of PPI's done at the Dinan dealer i use who is a BMW independent shop prob one of the best places to do a PPI bc they have no vested interest they are third party and don't have any sides to pick just the honest answers bc they don't sell cars they just work on them

i would look for a BMW independent if you can find one near by the shop. if it is at that place Foley then there is a Dinan dealer in Norwood not far away. that is where i got my car. lmk if you need help i can make a call over there

used M3 price went up a bit since early summer time.
Since it sounds like you're buying it from private seller, I say 50 -52k.
50k: if you can walk away. 52k: if you really don't want to miss out.

You don't really need PPI (since it's pretty new and low miles) but ask him to get full service history from the dealership to check any warranty issues.

I think you can do better.

Back in the day I had a dealer offer a 2008 57k... I would offer 50k or less since the 2010's are already being ordered.

49k? That's low balling...

In "good" condition it books at 54,460. Take a look on autotrader too...private sellers and dealers are asking from 50k to 59k depending on various options and mileage. Granted they probably won't be getting 59k, but the answer is somewhere in the middle.

The seller would have to be pretty desperate to sell to give it up for 49k. What is the condition of the car? I know it only has 5100 miles, but are there any scratches, curb rash, etc?

I think 52k-53k would be a fair price depending on condition.

I respectfully disagree, a PPI is a great thing low miles or not especially when it is from a private seller or a non bmw dealer bc that means he most likely bought the car at an auction. there is a chance someone traded it in to the used car place but i would bet it came from auction. not saying there is anything wrong with that but i wouldn't buy the car without a PPI. there could be things that happened to the car that the car fax didn't pick up especially since it is a newer car. usually a PPI is around $100-$150 i think that is cheap peace of mind

nice, yeah i almost got that car but the one at norwood had the fox red interior i wanted so i got that one. other then that the two cars were identical. Foley will deal on that car bc he was willing to come down when i talked to them and that was a month ago so he wants to move it. i say you can def def get it for 52k and maybe lower. i would start at 50k with him

also i just noticed Norwood got another in. it is not the same color but has all the options the other has but 18 inch wheels. they won't come down as much as Foley will Norwood holds pretty tight but he will come down some. there cars don't come from the auction and are mint mint, they are trades and usually bought there from the service reports i read. like mine was bought there and was traded in for a 4 door M3 and had only 8k miles on it. i only went with Norwood bc he gave me really good money for my Dinan E39 M5 bc there a dinan dealer so he said he had market for it, where the other places really low balled me

if you like the car at Norwood lmk and i will call the manager i dealt with and can prob get you a better deal then if you just went in as i just bought a car there. or if you need to get a PPI done there, i think foley is close by or not to far. here is link

Good luck!!!
