Remus Race Fitted
![]() What a difference Yes there is a drone, but it does kick out through the rev range so for now doesn't bother me (ask me again in 6 weeks) But one other thing the Remus does do is a great job on the look of the back end, gone has the grey/silver box of the original system, now each two have super angled pipes with black faced boxes, leaving the back aching for a rear diffuser (next on list) At the moment very happy! ![]() |

I wasn't too sure about the drone myself after the first run back from the garage, but took her out last night for a blast Hardly any drone when having fun but round town there is a very noticeable drone between 2 - 3rpmLuckily I don't do a lot of urban mileage, in fact I don't do much mileage at all, so I can live with it. If I had to travel in and out of town every day then I would probably be booking it back in the garage for stock or sport! I guess it's like living with the missus, get through the daily drone and the excitement will kick in every now and then ![]() ![]() |

![]() As I am based in the Northwest I always use Phoenix motor sport in Accrington, I would trust them with any motor! When are you fitting, is it next week? Have you physically heard the race....they are loud! ![]() ![]() |

I am yet to be convinced if I can live with it. Been out a few times, rural is fantastic, urban (town stop / starts) is going to take some getting used to. Off to the Lake District this weekend so I am sure I will be singing a different tune come Monday ![]() ![]() |

I don't suppose anyone with a Remus Race fitted is near Heathrow or Reading are they? Wanted to get a brief passenger ride to check the noise before getting the Remus fitted. Any offers?

Thanks Speedtrap, probably a bit of a trek. As you live in London and presumably drive there a bit can you let me know your thoughts on the "drone" ? I do a lot of motorway driving and obv a fair bit of that is between 2k-3.5k rpm which is where people say the drone is. Desperate for a nicer exhaust sound but don't want to regret it on the m/way commute

I normally drive my car alone, but if you have your missus and family in it, then I suggest the Remus Sport (which I have before) and that do not drone at all.Drone for the Remus Race is between 2k to 3K which is quite irritating sometimes if you have a call or want to listen to music. Hope this helps.
