I believe the posted speed limit on this road is 50 mph. My friend hit the passenger side front quarter panel on the mustang. There were 2 people who witnessed the mustang running the red. He was cited by the cops for running the red.

Thankfully, the car was deemed totalled. His insurance came up with a replacement value on the car. He's driving around in a brand new fully loaded M3 already.

Now THAT is a happy ending! I can't believe the DOT would post what appears to be a busy street in a business district, complete with pedestrian crosswalks, at 50 mph, but then again it's California, so nothing should surprise me.
