Very possibly Jeremy @ Powerchip, since I've heard very good things about him. He's gonna tune my M3 too when he comes for the Powerchip group buy in Texas.

I'm pretty sure he's based in the California area.

I think GIAC! And the reason is quite simple they have experience with German car. And they are very stable I mean the software. The file that have created are all very very linear and smooth. Some file from by past experience may give a feeling there is lots of push but not fast (maybe just a good jolt) I am not sure to this part. But I like actual comparisons. Its just that I have seen lots of vids comparing M3 vs M3 just different tunes. So far I still GIAC's car on top. I know Powerchip has bigger numbers on the dyno but sometimes I just feel you have to put it on the road and compare for true results.

No way, Jeremy @ Powerchip is the man . All of the strongest M's on the forum have one of his tunes. My car absolutely rips with his tune and I've still got cats .

I think OP is referring to shop and not engine tuner correct?

The best shops in LA are Renn-Spec, Autotalent, HMS, and EAS. All in the LA area.

If referring to software tuning, we've tried both and can say I'm very happy with the GIAC tunes we're been providing for M3s. The N54 flashes have been showing considerable gains have been very well-received in the e90 community.

GIAC will also be tuning our VF Supercharged M3:
