OEM 18 paint or powder coat
I have had some damage done to my oem 18s by a tire shop and am attempting to have it repaired. I need some help. I cannot get an exact color match, I have checked out a few wheels on line and have several colors that i think would look great on the oem 18's. Can anyone help me find a way to produce any of these finishes and if they are painted or powdered?
vmr hypersilver or hyperblack Advan rs Dark Gun Metal or machining silver. The company that did the damage will be paying for it, I just don't have many choices locally for this work and they do not seem to have large amount of color options. |

From what I understand, it is very difficult to match the wheel color. I would push for a new wheel or set of wheels. Check out this similar thread.

They should pay for a new sit of rims IMO, I think Gun Metal Black would be my choice, or matte black, you should consider matte black, it looks really good especially with white

Yeah, I have done some research and matching the oem color is not going to happen. I was hoping to get an idea of how to reproduce any of the other colors and if they are paint or powder coat. They are trying to work with me and they will powder coat them all or paint all four. I am trying to come up with some options, but if at the end they can't fix them, I will be asking for a new set.

If they do paint, make sure the use the proper flex in the paint or you will see a lot of chipping in the near future. (It seems to get overlooked a lot)
