iPhone phone book question

I've noticed all of a sudden that the iDrive is loading my favourites and not the whole phone book anymore. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance.

Hi AMK.
iCan relate. This is sometimes a bluetooth sync issue between iDrive and iPhone.

To resolve the problem shut down the vehicle, restart iPhone (wait till it picks up a signal) then restart car. Should work agian.

IM+ for MSN and other chat/ IM accounts

ToDo is a great task management app

TramTracker for when you aren't driving...which is rare for an ///M driver

Facebook and LinkedIn apps if you have a profile on both sites

Urban Spoon for when you need a bite to eat

I ended up unpairing the iPhone and then re-pairing. That seemed to do it. Is there a way to upload your phone book into the contacts in iDrive?

Another issue I have is the ringer volume. When my phone rings the damn ringer nearly blows the windows out the car! I have turned down the volume on the head unit but it seems to reset. Any tips?

For a game Firemint Flight Control - what a great mindless way to kill a few hours!

While we're on the subject of iPhones/iPods, have you guys noticed that when connected to the audio system via the Y-cable supplied with the car, if you put the songs onto "Random" mode, it often reverts back to alphabetical order after turning off the ignition and then restarting? I find that I almost always have to turn Random mode back on again after starting the car.

Sorry can't help with this one. I loaded all my music onto the iDrive HDD. I do have the Y cable but don't use is as the iPhone can't charge from the USB Port. I bought the iPhone snap-in adaptor yesterday mainly for the ability to recharge and the enhanced reception via the car antenna.
