Why are so many Eisenmann Race Exhausts for sale?

Lots for sale in the classifieds. How come?

I was considering one but a little concerned with all the sales? Any issues with them?

Thanks.

No issues, sport might be too low, Race might be too loud, its all preference.
Also, the Eisenmann is a little heavy. There are def other solutions out there. Not saying Eisenmann isn't good, or there are others that are better.

Perfection is often hard to find, and people spend lots of money trying to find it. Our generation always seems to think the grass is greener, sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn't, but most people find it hard to love what they have.

hrm...sounds like a reason our divorce rate is so high...

^^ +1

No issues, the race is awesome. A lot of people just want to try different setups to see how they like it.

For example, a setup with a catless x-pipe with the eisenmann race may be too loud. They may want to quiet it down or look for another exhaust..

My bet is that a lot of people were happy with their Eisenmann Race, but when all of the mid-pipe and X-pipe options came out, they installed them and realized they were too loud with the Eisenmann Race.

no problems. but all the above posts are good explanations as to why people may be selling, especially those who said that people didnt realize how loud it would be when the cats or an xpipe was messed around with

+1 on the probable cause being that HFC's or straight pipe along with the midpipes probably made the noise just too damn loud. I will let you know tonight. My Fabspeed HFC's and midpipes are going on tonight (already have the Eisenmann Race).

They just can't leave things well alone . With many systems that sound just as good, I don't understand why people dump over 3 grand on a system heavier than stock and almost as bulky .

Thanks!

People probably get sick of the drone. It's all fun and games, but after a while it gets annoying.

Hate drone. Had it on my Corvette for years with a Magnaflow system and didn't even realize what drone was until I swapped it for a B&B Triflow.

Race is great by itself, but paired with an x-pipe makes it sound terrible IMO.

have you heard it personally?
I haven't!

Also do you mean a race with an xpipe and resonators or no resonators? i heard that the race is just too loud without resonators.

I had eise sport and it was just to quiet. Also didn't like how heavy it was. Finally got the sound I was looking for on my 3rd try for setups.

AA with 2nd cat delete.

I have only been commented on how good the eisenmann race system sounds.

don't know where the fuss is about. And there is done with all the exhaust out there if your driving under 2000rpm anything over that is quiet.

How does the Race sound with just the muffler itself? I can imagine it sounds good and not too loud since the rest of the pipes are resonated.
I have an E46 M3 with the Race and I started with the muffler alone first. It was just way too quiet so I put added unresonated SuperSprint sec 1 and sec 2 and now its just right.
My question is for the E92's are, is there a difference between the OEM connecting pipes and the Eisenmann connecting pipes. The OEM appears to look unresonated straight pipes. If thats the case I would just get the muffler alone without the connecting pipes and reuse my OEM's. No point in spending an extra $550

I think mine sounds very good in conjunction with the Fabspeed HFC's and resonated x-pipe, though it is definitely LOUD. See my thread:
