There's some interesting info in the document that you posted. Thanks for posting it.

It seems to me, and I could be mistaken since pricing hasn't been announced, it is going cost a little more to get the Tech Package. With some new "must order" linkages of certain options that have not been linked thru MY 2009, the price is going up by $3,000. Very ingenious BMW.

To wit: Anyone opting for the Tech Pkg is going to have to live with also purchasing extended leather (currently a $1,100 option w/ ZPP or $2,000 w/o ZPP). Additionally, purchasing the $1,900 Enhanced Premium Sound will be compulsory when opting either for the Tech Pkg or simply opting for the nav a la carte rather than opting for the Tech Package. So, now the actual cost for Tech Package including two "must order" options" will cost $6,250 at minimum or $7,150 maximum unless BMW lowers or raises the cost of any or more of the three.

I didn't read it that way--just the reverse. If you want EPS, you have to have ZTP or at least nav. If you want extended leather, you have to get ZTP.

I don't read it the same way. I believe that if you want the extended leather or the enhanced premium sound, then you must order either one with either the navigation system or the tech package. Not the other way around, which seems to be what you are saying.

I concur. Silly me. IIRC, the nav is required on the '09 builds with either option. Nevermind. Brain cramps FTL

My dad had a '63 Lincoln Continental that had "auto high beam." It had a knob that allowed you to adjust the sensitivity.

The rest of the MY2010 3-Series line include the USB/iPod adapter as standard... but not the M3.

I am looking to lease a new M3 Coupe or convertible 09, or 2010, to replace my existing 07 335I coupe coming off of lease end of year. Any one with some good experience in North or Southern Ca who would like my business? Any price sheets, including retail, invoice, Ed etc at this time.

010 3 coupe is due for a face lift and I assume same changes will trickle to M3 coupe too. We might be able to find stealer deals for 09 residual coupes like people did for 08 Sedans!

"The internet platform BMW Online enables you to access e-mail, news and stock market updates on the road." as described here http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/t...cteddrive.html

It's also listed on the 2009 Option sheet.

I planned each of those options anyway so it wouldn't make much difference with my specs.

I have secondary HD channels saved in my presets. Mine is an 09 if that makes any difference. I did what you did. Tune to the regular FM station, let it catch the HD signal, then click on it. A second screen comes up showing two channels. Highlight the second one and then click option. This must be where the difference is. But isn't there a way to do that with the wheel on 08s?

I just ordered a 2010 and the tech and premium packages are priced the same as '09. The only option that I got that was more for 2010 is the rear parking distance which went up $30.

Here's the 2010 M3 Price List, hope its not a repost. As Cabinetman said, only price difference was parking distance control. Also alarm option 302 now shows up on the price list.

BTW sorry about the check marks, I was checking through my options when I ordered the M3.

Thanks Jel - sounds like there is a change to the "head light washers" that is... it seems like they will be retractable rather than showing...cool!
