Akrapovic burnt tailpipes.

I thought I would burn the tips on my Akra as they are only clamped on which made it quite easy.......

Nice touch to an already impressive exhaust system.

But I must give you the head slap for putting that beautiful exhaust tip in a bench vise!

Did you use that flame torch on the inside only or you also used it on the outside? Also do you plan to torch more of the inside part of the tips (not just the very edge)?

I would hope this would not void the entire warranty on the system - torching the tips clearly won't affect the cats or welds further upstream in the exhaust...

I only used it on the end of the tailpipes in and out... but I wasnt quite happy with the finish inside. Next door to where I work is a metalworks place so they will stick it on a extremely hot plate so I will hopefully get the desired effect.
As for the warranty I shouldnt think Akra will have a problem and im sure Evolve will back me up on this.
