BMW E39 528i
Hey guys,
I've got a neighbor with a 2000 E39 528i that hes put a decent amount of money into. He's under the impression that with pulleys, CAI, retuned DME, custom magnaflow exhaust and headers that somehow his originally 190hp/210lbs ft torque car is now some kind of bahn-burner. He was bragging about how he's gonna be near 270whp just based on those mods (he may have said cams too). Regardless I'm heavily skeptical and think hes just retarded... my question is... what is the estimated REAL power output of that engine fully modded? I searched google and dragtimes but couldn't find anything with similar mods really.

id call it maybe a 35 or 40 hp boost.... i am doubtful it its anything more than that.
i put a custom vaporizer kit by the air intake of my car, its kind of like NOS but with herbs instead... it boosts my hp from 190 to 640hp. NO lie ![]()
