what is the drivetrain loss for our cars?
hi guys, i just got hold of 07 335i and i would like to know whats the drivetrain loss for my car and for the awd 335xi ? This is my first bmw, thanks

I would figure 15% for RWD and 20% for the AWD System. Probably cannot predict accurately as it isn't linear through the rev range but i believe it is that much of a loss at the peak.
Somebody correct me if this is wrong.

Stupid noob question... You've answered what the drive train loss is for AT and MT, but does that take into account the use of DTC / DSC? Probably doesn't affect those Percentages too much but was just curious...
