I have always used Shell V-Power (Optimax etc) in every performance car and all my bikes for years - and Evolve ran some tests on different fuels and Shell came out top every time. On the dyno's there was a distinct difference between cars run on V-Power as opposed to normal unleaded etc. It is getting bloody expensive again though. Filled up my new DCT M3 today and it was 116.9 - rip off!!!!

Always use BP Ultimate - it is 97RON so a little less than Vpower but the garage is on my route to work, and always empty- Shell is a few miles off route and you always have to queue for the few Vpower pumps they have

You also get Nectar points at BP which pleases the missus

bmwbailey £116.9 ... ouch!

BP have the Ultimate 102 at selected outlets in the country ... but at £2.42 per litre ... I think they are having a laugh!

I am using the BP Ultimate 97 RON. Must try some of that Shell V-Power!

Shell V-power for me aswell.

Can be difficult tracking down a shell station whilst on the motorways.

I doubt there is much in it between BP and Shell - but i do my upmost to drive to a Shell garage because ive seen the test results Evolve did and how Shell V-Power came top of the league everytime and gave the biggest gains in power etc. I certainly wouldnt pay £2.42 for the BP 102 - thats just insane!!!
