After crunching some numbers, the good news is that this the 546,000 yen is the taxed price so we don't have to worry about additional fees.

If you order these through an unknown third party, expect to pay $8,190 USD. Since the yen rate is currently 98, our dollar has gained value but unfortunately the value of the US dollar in Japan is still below the yen .

If the yen was back to the point it was one year ago, we would be saving $1,100. Hopefully we will get back to that point again.

Good news is that vendors in Japan are selling these for much less than the MSRP. A set of these can be have for about 7000 with a set of PS2 or P Zero including EMS Express Mail shipping. Thank god for the internet.
