full akra evo install help!

I know there is a search but i don't have time right now and only saw axle back so far. What is the bolt and size wrench do I need to remove the x pipe from the header? it is the star shaped bolt. If anyone has done this themselves and im sure some of you have any and all thoughts and insights would be appreciated. thank you in advance.

Its just a reversed torx socket. You can get a set from any auto parts store. In a pinch you may be able to get away with using a standard socket but I wouldn't recommend it, especially because depending on the age of your car these bolts can be really seized. I don't recall the exact size but do you have the original instructions that came with the exhaust? I remember they were very detailed with color photos, etc.

my car is a 2013, 6k miles. I thought it was a reversed torx, but i purchased the exhaust used and no instructions came with. I downloaded instructions from Akra but did not see sizes of tools or tools listed.

Tom, that video was a huge help to me, still can hear the background music.

Just wish I had a lift, was a complete bitch doing it with ramps and stands.

I've watched the video a couple of times and it makes it look pretty straightforward. I've removed and reinstalled the stock exhaust a couple of times using stands and ramps. Compared to that, the Evo has to be a piece of cake.

Tom, you have to give a raise to whoever does your photos and videos.
