There are no sides. You basically stated that people should accept that america has right to establish its own cultural norms in a period of outrageous US cultural imperialism. To be consistent the US should extend the same courtesy to other nations.

So what? Most western nations provide aid to other less fortunate countries. However most nations including the US ignored the massacres in Rwanda and Dafur. That is to say the "aid" is usually a strategic decision based on politics not philanthrophy

These American victories were critical because they convinced France to recognize American independence and brought the French directly into the war as military allies. The French Alliance changed the face of the war for the British; because it evolvled into a world war.

Even without the French, we were doing pretty damn well on our own, so don't go getting all uppity.

The important point here is that we do not want to let one other migrant culture dominate ours. I agree that America is a melting pot of all nations and people. But I also more importantly believe that there should be a balance...meaning an influx of people who overtake our culture and society should be dealt with accordingly. Stop illegal immigration soon and deal with other issues in the near future.
