Forza 3 on its way - 10/27/09 - Megathread

bought a new (my 4th) 360 yesterday. im at level 47 now ~$2.5 million. have to turn on traction control because these R2 cars are too much for me to negotiate :|

every now and then ill fuck up a line or something and ill want to rewind but it wont let me. ill hit back over and over again and nothing will happen. eventually itll register, but ill rewind like WAY farther than i originally wanted. i also hate not being able to control how far back you rewind. it either rewinds too much or not enough.

Yeah the I wish you could control the point you rewind too. I haven't experienced it now registering me pressing the button though. Could it be your controller?

Are there any other glitches in the game other than the phantom exhaust pipes on the 135?

the late game gets really tedious. its not as fun as when i first started. i dont look forward to races as much. im a level 49 now and as soon as i get the 50 achievement im moving onto 'the ballad of gay tony' dlc. that should hold me off until mw2. ive spent a fuckton of hours on forza and im only at ~17% completion. fuck that. the 'year' and 'gold' achievements are going to be a major pain in the ass to get.

Not to burst your bubble, but there is already one out there, in fact I thought I somehow posted a picture of my car, as I bought that paintjob in the storefront, I just searech 'top gear'. The Top Gear logo is shitty though. Hopefully I will get around to posting a screen shot of the car.

anyway, i just got my level 50. im taking a break. i do need a favor, though. can someone PLEASE buy a design from my storefront? all my designs are only 1,000. i just need the achievement. gt: EOE Impulse. thanks for any help

Enemy AI running into walls

Rewind not working at random times

I had one time where I did rewind, then the music got stuck on a loop like a very fast skipping cd, then the entire game froze up.

I crested a hill once and the retaining wall was just not there.

I have lots more but that will give you an idea.

Sorry but the game looks like crap. Just look at the interior rendering, it looks smacks of a lazy job. Iam at level 30 something and bored of the monotony already.

i love forza honestly in my opinion i think that forza is better than gran turismo only because the fact that the detail of things is way better being able to pick every little part to put on the car even engine swaps. thats my two cents

I agree, when I tried GT5 I just didn't like the lack of customization, plus how they half-assed most of the cars and just ported them from old games. Hopefully they will make updates soon that will improve the game.

What's your gamertag? I still play it regularly. Mainly just vinyl shit. Here's the latest. The only real bodyparts that aren't vinyls are the race wings and the 135i's OEM performance front bumper.
