Yes the overall weights are close...but the effective weights are much different.

Let me explain...

The Dymag wheel has less effective weight in regards to performance, because it's Carbon Fiber outer barrel is located at the farthest point away from the center hub. That CF barrel is much lighter than that of the Volk CE28N. (i.e. the Dymag's outer barrel has less MASS)

Since a majority of the Dymags overall weight is contained in the Magnesium/Aluminum center spoke portion of the wheel, it's moment of inertia is much lower than that of the CE28N. (which is made of 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy)

Since the Dry Carbon Fiber outer barrel on the Dymag wheel is much lighter in overall weight, it requires less energy to do the same amount of work. Which means it's easier to get the wheel to spin from a dead stop. It also improves the transitional performance during frequent accelerating and decelerating. (by reducing the load on the engine to spin up the wheel again after slowing down)

The Dymag's are a stone cold killer on the track...

Since the Dymag wheel has the lightest part of it's overall weight at the farthest point form the center bore, it's real world performance is superior to that of the CE28N.

FYI: The closer you get to the center bore, the less impact the weight will have on your overall performance. (physics 101)

But be advised...this 'advantage' in wheel technology comes at a staggering cost!

If the barrel of the Dymag wheel is so much lighter than the Volk, does it mean that the Magnesium center is heavier than the Volk aluminum center? I thought Magnesium is lighter than aluminum????

COR has introduced a couple of Forged Monobloc wheels that we will have a special on real soon. COR in itself is a large company that manufactures wheels and does private labeling for various other companies.

I called up HRE, and the official weight for the 19x9 is 17.6 lbs and 19x12 weighs in at 19.6 lbs. They didn't have any other weights available.

My apologies...

The reason we don't list pricing on most of our wheels, is really because most of them are custom wheels and there are way too many custom options to list all and we didn't want to limit the availability of these options with prices.

Another reason we don't list them would be to be competitive without listing them at low prices that violate our agreements with our suppliers.

For other wheels that are more straightforward, we will be listing them on our online store soon for easy online purchase.

If you are on any other wheel sales sites that sell the various brands that we do, they operate the same way. You are always welcome to call us for pricing and more information!

One further comment on your site. The flash intro on your front page blocks out all iPhone users. Would be nice to be able to skip the front page and get right to the merchandise photos.

What offset range is viable for 10 and 10.5 inch wide wheels without rubbing on an e92 m3?

Thanks... we certainly appreciate your feedback on our site. It is a work in progress and all your comments will certainly help us tremendously. We are really thinking of taking that flash intro out.

As for the offset range we like from experience
10" -> +20 ~ +25
10.5" -> +22 ~ +28

Again, this is from our experience and is based on multiple tire fitments that are readily available such as 285/30-19, 295/30-19, 305/30-19 for 19" wheels and 285/30-20 and 295/30-20 for 20" wheels.
