My M3 at Grattan Raceway, MI

Not so ideal conditions but great fun nonetheless. The Nittos were a handful in the wet but provided relentless grip in the dry.

Pics were taken by professional photographers (Sideline Sports).

and then the skies opened up.... weeeee!

just a little slippery....

Needs a wash. I think this one is my favorite. I dig the background and the heat distortion coming off the tail pipes.

Dude, those are sweet. I can't wait to pick my car up. How much was the track day and how did you find out about it?

my favorite is 3rd from the last picture- just a little hint of oversteer

What size spacers are you running with the LTW5 wheels- are those the 18x10 +43?

The track event was about $400 for the whole weekend with the local Michigan Chapter Audi Club, not counting how much you spend on tires, brake pads, lodging, etc. Whether you're a noob or an experienced driver, car clubs are usually your best bet for track days/HPDE's. I enjoy running with my local Audi club because they are more organized than any of the other car clubs in my area, including the BMW chapters. They also have better instructors and generally run a safer event. YMMV depending on where you are.

18x9.5 +35 with 12mm spacers on all four corners. Tires are Nitto NT-01 275/35 on all fours as well.

I love the wheels, but I hate running spacers

Will you be at Autobahn this weekend for either the two day event, or Monday??

I'm going Sunday. Maybe Saturday too if I can free myself from a certain obligation.

No problems running those spacers on the track? I have the SSR 18x9.5 +35s from my e46 M3 that I've been trying to sell, but if I can run them with spacers that would save me a ton of dough...
