hood vent?

Do any manufacturers make a hood vent for the M3? Especially for the fake side? From anecdotal evidence the car does run abit cooler on track with the faux vent removed.

So I was thinking somthing like this.

Would those fit the stock hole or would you be cutting your hood? Maybe you can find someone to mould some direct fit replacements.

Your post is still unclear to me. If you believe using your passenger side hood vents is beneficial, just remove the rubber.

removing the rubber i think well create a high pressure zone on top of the hole, which will not be very beneficial during track driving. The benefits are only realized when the car is stopped during cool down where heat will escape faster.

So having a device that channels air into the car might be better.

Somebody remove the rubber on the passenger side vent, put a smoke bomb in the engine compartment and GoPro where the smoke goes at different speeds.

Thank you very much.
