I just had my Vehicle Alignment done today. Stock E92. The speed shop set as follows. FRONT CAMBER LEFT -1.11
RIGHT-1.13

REAR CAMBER LEFT -1.77
RIGHT-1.79

Thank you for your thoughts concerning how they align my car. They called it moderatly aggresive for tracking my car.

This is a semi daily driver, also drive E46, if I do drive E92 maybe 10-15 miles a day. I was told that these settings should not effect tires. I do track the car an avg of 4 days a month. Maybe LUCID knows.

I am running -1.95 up front. I can't see any uneven wear, but probably put only about 1500 street miles since the adjustment.

Those setting are not far at all from the stock settings and should not cause wear.

I've got around 1.7 to 1.75-degrees all around with no ill effects yet, but, like Lucid, I don't have many street miles yet. Still, in the past when I've run less camber I've worn the outsides of the fronts first, but I do tend to corner harder than average.

Im assuming all you guys running almost -2 up front have camber plates?
I use to run -2.2 and -1.8 out back on my e46 M3. It was my DD and my track car, and put ovcer 40 000KM on it with those settings and did not notice any excess tire wear from the camber really. I find toe is the biggest tire killer personally.

My concern is any long term issues, added stress on certain components that might not be up to the challenge?

No plates up front. Pulled the pins. No issues thus far doing that. Picking up a set of MOTON camber plates for a little more adjustment for AutoX days.

Gonna make an appointment for an alignment next week then.
So if Im gonna be getting around -1.2 to -1.4 with the pins pulled out, what about the camber out back???
My e90 M3 is my DD and my track car, it sees a lot more street then track though, I drive a lot.

I just removed my alignment pins tonight got about -.25 degrees from it.

Edit:
I lowered the car .75" with the motons and now have -2.1 degrees of camber up front. I'll be going with camber plates soon for even more.

if you are getting outside wear you need more camber. Toe isn't gonna wear the outsides under any realistic conditions. Also make sure you got enough air pressure.

Lucid...What camber plates are you using? Dinan or adjustable ones? I am looking into getting some camber plates.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a CA Bay Area shop that will do a good alignment?

Thank you. I figured. What gives me a bit of pause is that not only are the camber plates fixed but they cost and arm and a leg to install if it is Dinan. I was quoted over $800 just to install the camber plates. Add in alignment and it is $1000.

Anybody have alternative solutions to dialing in more camber in an E90 M3 for track and daily driver use? I usually go to Laguna Seca and Thunderhill. I have the Dinan spring and run the OEM 18" wheels which will become by track tires. The biggest issue I have with the current setup (even with EDC) is that there is way to much push.

Yes, I am using Dinan camber plates, which give me -1.95 when everything is maxed out. That is working out pretty well.

I don't see how the $800 install just for plates is justified. That is ~8 hours of labor. The Dinan website quotes 3.5 hours of labor, and even that is too high IMO. Alignment at a quality shop should run ~$150.

Thanks Lucid. They were quoting $150 labor per hour and then another $X for the alignment which got it up to essentially in the 1K range. Makes no sense to me. I will see if I can find a good shop in the Bay Area to help me with this.
