So .. that's actually about $300 BELOW ED invoice if that includes 1300 GGT and the 825 destination charge (the best I've ever seen is 500 over). Don't know how you made the dealer take a loss on an ordered ED car .. since there are no holdbacks on ED vehicles (and they don't count as dealership sold cars .. for their month end bonuses either). Well .. I guess dealerships are really smart on how they make money these days. Financing markup maybe ... . Great deal nonetheless.

Can you further explain your financing please? What will your balloon payment be at the end if you don't mind me asking?

Hmm .. why don't you just convert it to the standard 2.9% APR offered by BMW FS and ditch the balloon and see if they still keep the $750 below invoice (incl. GGT and DEST)? Work out the math .. it may actually come out cheaper in the long run .. though your monthly may be higher.

What happens is in balloon they are deferring your "large" (but heavily "padded") payment in the end. Instead .. if you paid the same money in the beginning as a DOWN payment .. and went with the std. 2.9% APR for the rest .. you'll be paying way less .. overall! The difference is the money the dealers may pocket.

Either way .. just make sure you are informed .. and it's ok if the dealers make a bit .. they are a business after all! Great car .. great deal.

I am doing 2.9% APR with the balloon payments though. I see what you mean though!

I do not know the balloon at the end, but my CA told me, the economy is pretty much at it's worst now and that if it were to be sudden and have all car values drop immensely then so would everything else because a lot of people depend on cars. Best case scenario is that I can sell the car for more than I own in a couple years instead of going with the full 60 months.

Pretty good deal for a reasonably loaded e92 m3. I ordered mine stripped, and I got it for a few hundred below invoice.

Congrats on the car! I just found out mine is due to be finished on June 25. I ordered my loaded E90 M3 through David Aviles at bmwsonline. I'm getting:

Le Mans Blue
Silver Novillo
DCT
19" Wheels
Moonroof
Carbon Leather trim
PDC
iPod and USB adapter
Enhanced Premium Sound
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Technology Package

Not quite a direct replacement for my Estoril E36 M3 that I sold with 169k miles on it, but I think I'll get over it!

We do by all means...... You might want to change your post to W.Washington. Bmw Bellevue and Seattle are the only ones to give minmal discounts.

Hahn's been selling cars $500 over invoice for a while now and would of beat your deal for sure....

The bigger questions is: Why would anyone order a E92 right before the facelift (granted M3 might be exempt).
