It would be a lot more trouble than it was worth. You probably would not gain any HP, and it would crowd the engine bay more. The way the stock intake tract is designed, it gets a lot of fresh air. A high flow filter is really all that is needed to maximize the intake.

If anything, it would probably by pass most of the air going into the intake and exit out the straight-away added vent. Air will travel faster along a path of less resistance.
