iPhone and bluetooth bandaid fix

I have an 08 e93 m3 and have had good and bad luck with my m3 and using bluetooth. If i made a call sometimes the first call was fine and then after that the handsfree would shit the bed. or if I stayed on the phone with the first caller for more than a few minutes the call quality would slowly get worse until they couldnt hear me anymore. I then checked in my mothers 09 e93 335 and her motorola phone worked fine but when linking my iphone, the same issues arouse. so it seems to be more the phone than the car.

I did tons of searching and found that iphone users with the z4 were having the same issue, and someone mentioned a fix that most of the guys tried and had success.

Heres the bandaid fix... Turn off the wifi on your phone when your in the car.

Im running 4.0.1 on the iphone 4 and have made about 8 consecutive calls having the wifi off and have none of the issues I described early. one caller even mentioned that I sounded much clearer.

Give it a shot and please post whether it worked for you or not.

Interesting.. I've used every gen (1g to 4) of iphone my 08 m3, and never had a problem disconnecting or varying quality of calls. Maybe your battery is suffering in the phone? Can you get a refurb?

ive used the 3g, 3gs, and iphone 4 and all have shitted out after 5min on the phone or more than 1 call. mabye the problem is inherent to e93's or convertibles in general being that z4's also suffered from this.
