Iphone problem

hi, i have got the e90 M3, with Ipod option,
however i could never connect my iphone onto the systme, i keep says unable.


any help please??

are you adding from the car?
you should add the car to the iphone
so on the iphone, go to settings
general
bluetooth
and it starts searching
you are looking for BMW (the last 5 digits of your VIN number)
and i think the code is 0000 on the bmw
that or 1234

Pretty sure mine was 0000 on initial setup.

i know how to connect it to my PHONE, but i am also trying to use the USB cable for an IPOD use for the enteriment, i paid for the option.

it does detect the device, but unable to connect.

any help plz!??

did you try to reset the iphone?
my ipod did that once
would not connect
i reset it and it worked

hold the home button and the lock button on the top
till the screen goes black ( i think its about 5 seconds)
then you see the apple logo

I ordered the iPod/USB combo too and I'm curious about this. But, don't you think it's only made for iPod? Just curious, I want to get an iPhone too.

both iphone and iphone 3g
was just listening to my iphone right now
and i have tried with ipod photo
ipod classic 160gb
and newest nano

hey man, i just try to reset my iphone, wheni hold the home and top button for 5 secs, it just stwitch off, and i need to press it again to turn it on.


any help please!!!!!!!!

It says its unable to connect...but if you go in your iDrive menu you can still access your songs, playlist, etc

If you have the iPod option, it would have come with a "Y" cable. The "Y" cable MUST plug into BOTH the USB and the AUX port in the center console. Plug the iPod (or the iPhone) into the "Y" cable and you should see your iPhone show up in the navigation screen under CD/Multimedia.

If you don't see it, I would suspect that you have a bad "Y" cable (as I did) and the dealer will swap it out for a new one.

yes just press the lock button to turn it on

6FL is compatible with both 2G/3G iPhone.
