DCT - best shift RPM
Hi All
I have DCT and love it - I especially like the shift lights in M mode. I was wondering where exactly you should shift - as soon as the lights come on or when it's going red? Thoughts / opinions please... (I did do a search BTW but I got 13 pages of results and none that I looked at seemed to answer this question). Thanks

This is if you're WOT and trying to get fastest acceleration.
I assumed best to shift just before red. We really need an RPM / torque / gear graph thing to work this out so we get maximum torque before and after each shift.

Test out what works best for you, if your around 8200-8300 when the shift occured then you times it right. Hard to say exactly when, b/c everyone reacts a bit differently from the time the light is perceived and the paddle is flicked. I tend to shift end of the yellows to avoid the rev limiter.
