Official Montreal M3 Spotters Thread!

I've been seeing a bunch of M3's in Montreal now and I think we deserve our own spotters thread considering we have a decent amount of owners on the boards.

- Last week i spotted a White E92 M3 on St. Charles turning onto the 40.
- I also keep seeing the same Silver E90 M3 in Beaconsfield over the last week or so!
- Red E93 M3 lives somewhere in Mile end as i see it often on St. Urbain or Parc.

Hopefully we can get a Montreal M3 meet together sometime in the near future!

The first one might be me since I live in Beaconsfield. Mind you... you can surely tell its me from my exhaust note. It's only Montreal Red and myself that have aftermarket exhausts on our M3's here in montreal. Or at least from what Ive seen.

Ive seen the silver e90 as well in beaconsfield. Windows are stock (untinted other than that slight tint that comes from manufacturer.

Saw a black e92 M3 today on Queen Mary and Decarie. Spoke to the owner and hes a bigtime racer and a member of the Mont Tremblant race track. Invited me to go sometime after I told him I signed up for PMC Blainville and Calabogie so far this year.

We usually do a Montreal meet with the guys on E90 as well.
Since alot of the older members myself included have switched over from E92's E90's to M3's...
So next time we set one up , you should join... Just take a look at the Montreal Chat Thread and you'll be able to stay updated...

We set up meets and track days on that thread. LAst breakfast we were about 10 bimmers. 4 M3's and one Z4mCoupe.

Pretty funny that you post a link to the thread of the 4 M3's parked infront of that house, as I am also friends with John. He seems to know everybody He really needs to get those winter rims off his RS4 though!

Speaking of which I saw a stock E92M3 on Decarie service road just south of the Jean Talon underpass making a right at the Pizza Hut. I was in my M3 headed towards Decarie and the underpass to go to the 40. THis was around 5:15 today .

White C63 AMG parked on St. Jacques( would be fun to run Antony's M3 against a C63 to see how close they are!)

Wow... after about 3 weeks I finally saw a grey e-92 M3 downtown on crescent street today. We actually pulled aside talked and exhanged numbers. Hes totally stock but DCT and was at Napierville recently where he pulled in a 12.7 1/4 mile totally stock.

Meanwhile I saw a TON of Ferrari's the past 2 days (ok like 5 to be exact) and one RARE BmW Z8 roadster.

I saw TWO different Z8's yesterday, one on the 15 and another in Tremblant. And the Ferrari's were out and about yesterday, I saw 6 different one's.

I don't know if an M3 spotters thread is relevant... I see quite alot of them on the road. Just yesterday afternoon, I saw a Melbourne red Coupe at the LaColle border. He was right behind me in the queue.

Than I crept up to a Black Coupe on highway 15 North from the US and we cruised together untill Brossard.

Now I'm not sure I will post on this thread everytime I see one. But in yesterday's circumstances, it was worth the post. I thought the black one was Niqui.. but then it was confirmed that it wasn't him...

I personally like this seeing as Im slowly starting to get to know most of the montreal M3 owners. Personally... I hardly ever see any M3's on my way to work or even on weekends so I think its pretty cool. Until this weekend I hadnt seen another M3 since our last gathering.

Hey Nick, The M3 I ran into downtown I posted about was at Napierville last friday and did the 1/4 mile totally stock (tires as well) in 12.7. I told him that you were going this friday and he will try and be there.

I definately want to do a run with you Nick. (not 1/4 mile just a roll on even though I have the advantage on 1/4 mile with LSD) .

Theres a guy on Youtube by the login name "DLSJ5" who has pretty much the same mods as I do with the exception of having cats and therefore about 12 to 15 less HP and TQ but more than makes up for that with DCT. Look up his videos. He races a lot of exotics (ferrari's , 997tt etc...) and loses to them but also has videos of racing tuned 335i's and recently posted a new vid versus an equally tuned M5 . He actually kept up and was passing the equally modified M5 on that recent video.
