Springs and EDC
Im sure this has been covered but im struggling to find any definitive answers. Basically, i have an E92 M3 with EDC. I personally feel the car sits too high, especially when you look at it from the rear. So, i want to lower it - not too low, i dont want the rims disappearing under the arches - but enough to make a visual difference. I was considering Eibach springs or equivalent - BUT i dont want to mess up the EDC entirely and be left with a car that drives like a bag of nails!! I dont really want to go down the coilover route due to cost. Has anyone dropped their EDC equipped M3 with springs, if so which ones and how does the car handle afterward, any regrets etc??? Many thanks.

there are a million threads on this and a couple on the 1st page.
Eibach, H&R, and RD sport are all good options for springs, eibach being the last aggressive and RD being the most. Either way, aftermarket springs will shorten the life of your shocks but not for a while. Some people already have about 15k on their aftermarket springs with no problems. And none of the mentioned springs will give you a crazy lowrider drop.

Having just read through the link Technic listed - im going to go with the Eibach Pro Kit - just hope i can source it here in UK. My only concern is that ive ordered a set of Eibach spacers - 15mm front, 12mm rear - and im worried i may get some rubbing/fouling issues?? Im running stock 19" rims with stock Michelin rubber. Any thoughts??

Can anyone confirm if i will have any rubbing/clearance issues - ive ordered 15mm front and 12mm rear spacers, run stock 19" rims and rubber - but also want to drop the car with Eibach pro kit. Is it likely to rub or foul the arches?? Anyone done this mod??

I have a pic request.
H&R springs vs. RD Sport Springs on 19s. Side View. I've been searching, and I feel like the Back is slightly lower on RD sports than H&Rs so the .6 might be more like .8 on the RDs |
