New threat on I-5 north of Salem - M3 Forum 2010 2009 BMW M3 2008 BMW M3 BMW E90 M3 E92

On two separate trips from Portland to Salem recently I saw unmarked police vehicles with cars pulled over. And these unmarkeds were no Crown Vics--a blue full-size pickup and a light colored Taurus! This seems like a new tactic by the OSP, unless it was Salem police (both were just before you enter).

FYI, Washington, your new state, has long had far more aggressive enforcement than Oregon. I remember driving back from Seattle probably 20 years ago, doing about 80 in a 65, passed this Firebird with the screaming chicken on the hood. You guessed it--I was pulled over in no time!

Oregon hasn't had money for air enforcement for a while--not sure if WA is the same.

I received a speeding ticket on I5 South in WA south of Kelso returning from Seattle a couple months ago with my V1 quiet in the window. Officer said the airplane clocked me at 85 in a 70.

I've seen an unmarked silver Charger (with regular Oregon plates) as well as an unmarked blue Mustang (with regular Oregon plates) running I-5 from Boon Bridge to Lake O
