20" BBS LM-R from [GT Motoring] :Agressive Spec:
Ordered these 8 weeks ago along with my KW Clubsports which arrived much earlier. The wheels were shipped from Japan. GT Motoring balanced/mounted Yokohama Advan Sports for me with TPMs and shipped them to me. They are spotless. Again I have to thank Jae over at GT Motoring for all of his help. He's very knowledgeable, was always there to answer my questions, courteous, and updated me on the progress of my order. He also threw in a couple of extras
.So here they are 20x9 et8 fronts with 255/30/20 tires. 20x10 et18 with 285/30/20 rears. If you saw my car before with just the Clubsports, you saw it was pretty dumped. There was major rubbing with it that way. I raised it about 1/2 inch all around and now there's some rubbing on the right rear which I hope some camber will be able to fix. The fronts clear the fender fine but there is some rubbing on the fender well liner close to full turn. Here are some quick pictures to show what the car looks like at different angles. I'll take some better photos later and post them in the photos section. On with the show. ![]() Fresh off Fed Ex truck ![]() ![]() ![]() Washed the wheels and applied a layer of Jetseal 109 (sealant) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by sard; 03-25-2009 at 09:34 PM. |

No spacers. I'm sure the rear rubbing will be fixed with some camber adjustment on the rear. Not sure about the front wheels rubbing on the inside fender well liner though.

Beautiful.
Very surprised about the rubbing. Your running an aggressive offset, but other are running even more aggressive with no rubbing. I wonder if it has anything to do with the KW's. Is it rubbing on the fender or the suspenpension?? My new wheels are 20x11.5 and running a 325 on the rear with no rubbing.

Perfect ride height, Perfect offset, Perfect car!
![]() Because you have not adjust any alignment since you lowered the car, the rears are rubbing unevenly. Once you get the little more camber front and rear, you won't have any rubbing issue. ![]() Anyways, car looks VERY HOT, I wish I should have ordered another set for MY M3. ![]() |

FYI, this set up has been done already. We would NEVER recommend such a set up if the wheel will have major rubbing issue. Rear rubbing issue can be solve with just stock camber adjustment knob. It is NOT even near "serious" negative camber, just little more camber than stock config. For fronts... Because we knew stock front suspension wont allow enough camber to clear the fronts, this is why we recommended KW ClubSports to give extra camber to go with this wheel. We do NOT sell this wheel to those who will be lowering the car with just springs or basic coilover due to rubbing issue. The above pictures are NOT even at max neg camber YET, there are PLENTLY room for adjustment. ![]() And even at current setup, Sard says it does NOT rub as he stated on first thread. The rubbing with fender liner while turning is different issue. |
