Vorsteiner trunk replica

So I know that there has been various replicas of the various diffusers, lips, etc. out there such as the 3d replica splitter, vorsteiner replica lip, and diffuser. I would love to get the authentic pieces, but I would want some of that money to go to other parts. I know that there has been a little controversy between the authentic parts vs. the replicas. I think these replicas are a great option for those who want nice parts, but are willing to sacrifice the brand name, and some quality (sometimes), for a great reasonable price. One of the vendors on ebay who sells replica front lips, etc., also sells a replica vorsteiner trunk. I know many on this forum like these replica parts for the price, and they have some decent fitment, but I was wondering if anyone has any information concerning fitment, finish, quality, etc on this trunk? so far his other parts have been great.

Replicas are good when the name brand fools are running up the price do to lack of competitors. If the name brand made their prices a little cheaper ..say... anything but the 2 1/2 times what the replica costs Id go with brand name.

Back on subject. Ive read the replicas fit just as good as the brand names .

Because they respect Amuse Ericsson just a little more than the VRS ones, since they actually made their own design!

I think it's disrespectful to the person selling it on eBay to call it Vorsteiner Trunk Replica. It's not theirs to begin with, so why would you call it a replica of that? I know, they sold a few.

A close friend actually asked JL about the Ericsson trunk. JL isn't producing one because he basically said the Ericsson trunk doesn't look nice in person and he doesn't think they would sell.

I dunno about the BMW world but when I had my s2000 I had a replica amuse front bumper and right before I sold it they also came out with the Amuse widebody replica.

As for the trunk in question. I like it. If it fits well why not?
