Tested dB level of Remus Race on E92 Coupe

I thought others might be interested to know that I tested my E92 M3 Coupe with the Remus Race exhaust and the decibel level was 100.5 during a throttle blip recorded 30 ft. back from the car. I have no other engine/exhaust mods on the car.
This info could be useful for those worried about sound limitations on certain tracks or areas (such as the 99 dB limit on Harris Hill Road in TX). And since I know most of you only read the posts for pix, here's a shot of my rear.

It sounds good and loud - on street driving, you won't be blipping on every single gear so you're fine.

When I first put it on, I thought it was way too loud. Give it a few hundred miles, the sound settles in and the car just feels so much more special to drive because of the sound.

Agreed. At first, you'll notice it is substantially louder but it does settle in nicely. I am glad I went with the Race over the Sport. It really sings in the higher revs. Just be prepared to set off car alarms in parking garages ... there is no way around it. Trust me, I've tried as I park in a garage everyday at work. Reverse seems to hit the right note more than the forward gears.

Regardless, I recommend this system to anyone wanting a (much) more aggressive exhaust note through the entire rev range.

They must not enforce that very well, because there are cars at the Ring on a regular basis that are much louder than 95db. Pretty much any late model Ferrari, etc.

I must be crazy because sometimes I think my Remus Race is a little too quiet.

A weighted? You should always specify this along with distance as well! Weighting has a big effect on the overall value.
