GSP style peal for the E90 - gauging interest

There are a few of you who are probably very familiar with the SMG replacement pedal offered by GSP for the E46. I have one on my E46 and it is one of my favorite mods. Essentially it replaces the stock pedal with a much stiffer and wider unit that makes it easier to left foot brake at the track. The travel is shorter, and when combined with a BBK, is has a very good feel compared to the stock unit.

I am going to work with a friend who manufactures spare parts for the military to produce a similar unit for the E9X DCT. I am 3-4 months away from having a production unit ready. I was only planning to make one, but if you are interested please send me a PM. The price is likely to be >$1000 for the limited volume.

E46 M3 SMG unit for reference, what I am shooting for:

Just curious....Couldnt you just make a wider pedal adaptor that screws into the existing pedal?

I dont think the stock pedal is bad...Im sure its 400% overengineered to not break.

Is it really nescessary to replace the entire assembly? Seems like this could be solved with a $100 part vs $1k.

Just my 2 cents.

A lot of people just bought the stock brake from the 335i Automatic...it offers a wider brake pedal and at least for the E46 M3, the E46 330i Automatic pedal fit fine. I'm guessing the same for the 335i to M3 conversion would also work.

All I can say is "That's not a knife....this is a knife!"

-or-

"It's not the having, it's the getting"

In any case, the GSP pedal had a shorter travel, required more force, and had zero deflection. Only one pedal is worthy.
