is it just my imagination or is there a noticeable difference with just a filter install? seems to have perked things up a little. Am i just crazy or is this filter magic? didnt expect any noticeable difference.

your butt dyno must be more sensitive than mine because i can't tell a lick of difference. i think the differences you're feeling are in your head. engines fluctuate horsepower depending on operating temperature, atmospheric conditions, etc. and you never feel that.

Chris,

There is a modest improvement in air flow with the car so it's possible the car is slightly more responsive but it is just a filter replacement so do not expect any life altering changes.

You guys felt that difference because the engine is louder and if you guys had stock exhausts when u installed it you would hear the engine Growl instead of Grunt over 3k rpm

As for actually feeling the performance, its all in your head

the only way to feel that would be to have a 30 to 40 hp gain

For sure the car sounds different. Very noticeable if you're running the stock exhaust. A drop in filter is one of the best mods for the money, along with scoops.
