GPS Data Screen on iDrive Svc Menu

When you access the iDrive service menu (for the LCI iDrive), there is a GPS data screen that looks like it should provide real time output of the GPS data, including speed. When I tried it while driving though, after invoking the svc menu, the GPS data entry remained at 0, while the coords remained as they were for the place where I had stopped. I've attached a screen shot...has anyone else tried this and does it work (or not work) the same for them?

How did you get into the service menu?

The procedure is laid out in the attached doc that was posted in one of the forums (I don't recall who the original poster was, so apologies for not being able to credit them).

CG, i was able to get access to that menu...but, like yours, the speed does not change when I am driving. thanks for the post!

Great info. Makes my decision to buy an '08 or '09 more difficult. The new CIC is so tempting. Btw, the manual says number of pixels doubled. It has actually quadrupled.
