Base plate removal help

I am trading my car in for a X5. I need to remove the phone base plate from the center console as it wasn't installed at factory. I installed it myself. The problem is, I dont know how to remove it, without removing the entire center console. Does anyone know. Technic, your normally good with stuff like this.

Also, need to remove the CD Changer. If I physically remove it, and the car was coded for CD changer, will it cause any issues do you think?

... so I'll have some nice things for sale soon.

BMW OEM MP3 CD Changer
Non 6NF base plate + 2G iphone cradle
Rear seat dog protector for Coupe
Rubber trunk mat

All OEM, of course !

Try this:

Looking at my console, there are 3 tabs on the right (passenger side) and only one tab on the left (driver's side) of the console baseplate slot. So if you use a plastic tool like the one shown (or a fine screwdriver covered in cloth, not to scratch the console) and insert it on the left side and gently pry the baseplate up it should "unclick" from that single tab and be removed from the other 3 tabs.

Removing the CD Changer will be fine...
