Ink me up!

Ok so Im thinking of getting a tattoo. Im all natural except for my belly piercing. I've always thought about getting a tat but never could decide on something. Plus i wanted it meaningful.

So i decided i wanted to get either the Italian flag or the boot. However, its gonna be small.

I need a location though. Im not a fan of the lower back cause its too played out. The pelvic area would be cool except im afraid of getting pregnant and it expanding. One friend suggested the inner ankle?

IDEAS?!

I think we need to see the belly ring to pick out the proper tat to match...

I vote for inner ankle if not the lower back.

The one on the lower back is called a bullseye.
Do not get it there because if you ever have kids it will look awful.

Tatoos on the ankle look horrible if you ask me. If you want to wear nice girly shoes to a nice event you have no way of covering it up.

Lower back tatoos (aka slut stamps, ass antlers, bullseye) are great if you're going into the porn business.

If you must get a tatoo you should at least get it somewhere you can decide if it's going to be visible or not.... just my 2 cents.

my ex had it on her lower back... i thought im not ganna like it, but after she did it that turned me on alot (i like bad girls ) so my vote goes for lower back or the ass

btw, DONT make a huge one... small one is cute, but too much is a turn off

Don't do the lower back!
Bullseye, tramp-stamp... either way; not the best place for a tattoo.
You say it's going to be small. How small? I would tend to suggest the flag over the boot, because the boot will lose detail the smaller you make it. Also, each person's body takes different inks in different ways, but I believe white is one of the more difficult colors to tattoo.

For location, I'm not a fan of ankle tattoos either (look trashy IMO).
My vote's for the pelvic area or upper back.

Bullsye? never hear that one before. Here in Chicago people always call the lower back tattoo a "tramp stamp"

Not true unless you get a big ass one. Small ones are ok. Yes your waist will increase a little if you are unable to lose all the weight.

Hopefully you've been giving it a ton of consideration.

In today's professional world, especially if you are intending a career in PR, looks count and most people today have an ill-conceived perception of people with tattoos (and excessive piercings, for that matter). With that said, many people regret getting particular tattoos as they become self-conscious during the 5/7 days of work each week, forcing them to cover the tattoos at all times.

My woman has a tribal band she got when she was a brash kid back in the days and now is currently getting it laser-removed. Getting the damn thing off costs 10X the cost of putting it on! She has to wear long-sleeved attire daily to work and she hates it - she normally dresses with flair but this limits her greatly.

Same thing with my big bro - he has this huge abstract tat on his forearm and because of this he has to wear dress shirts daily. I suppose he may not oppose wearing dress shirts daily for work but even if he goes out on a company picnic he'd still cover that up.

Also, it's going to be amusing to observe how his grandkids will react to his tat in the later years. Imagine you having a tattoo on your pristine wedding pictures. With piercings.

Well i narrowed it down to the pelvic area. Right below the hip bone. I am just worried that if i were to get pregnant it would be nasty.

Well if white is a bad color to tat.. that kinda kills the green, white and red for the flag

Well I don't know...if the plan is not to show it why have it? Small back tats and inside ankle tats are cool IMO...plus they can be seen which is generally the idea...of course I like the Alyssa Milano type girl too...

I say don't get one. But if you have to, get a small one on the inner or outer ankle.

What about the Italia shield?

You get a flag and boot and the colors. White isn't that bad, but you may want to get it touched up in a decade or so.

Don't get one!

Or do a Henna, you can buy a kit, make the patern yourself plus it'll go away after a while.

Good luck!

I say you really need to consider what you want. If you want one...get one. Fuck what others think!

I have one...took me 4 years to finally settle on design.

Location is a tough call....particularly in women. I will talk to you more about it this weekend. Colors....green is the hardest color to remove with a laser...fyi.

Good choice on location... eh, if you get pregnant, just exercise and get back in shape. White's not a bad color, just difficult. Ask around at different artist and see what they have to say. Ask if the white will be bright white, or more of a pale flesh color?

I'm somewhat suprised at the number of responses against a tattoo. I think in today's society it's definetely becoming more of a norm, and to put it bluntly, once the baby-boomers are no longer, it will be much more acceptable.

definetely give it some serious thought; don't even think of removal as an option. Ask yourself what you'd be happy with for the rest of your life.
I've been debating my next piece for almost 2 years.

wah wah wah dont get a tattoo, forget that bella,I say sleeve an arm but thats just me.I have a friend who has nautical stars on her pelvic area and it is extremely sexy if the girl has the right body for it(in which you do)
so I say go for it,but keep in mind the smaller you do it the harder it is to see the detail in it as well as it still looking good after a baby or alot of time.either
way we all know you look good but a sleeved arm would drive me crazy.lol
