CArbon Fiber Skinning Kit
I found this by accident :
http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products...CMCFSK300.aspx Seems interesting to smarten up the interior for the DIY types out there. Anyone willing to give it a go? Hows this for an alternative? http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=217708 Think I am going to try my hand at this carbon skinning thing, if anything the chemicals will be nice to play with ![]() Added youtube diy vid : http://www.youtube.com:80/watch?v=6rTWaV1imzs Last edited by Doc; 02-16-2009 at 04:23 PM. |

- Everyone chooses the Carbon roof since its the fad and looks cool. It has bar room bragging rights as well but with the GTR around there is not much one can brag about driving an M3 - so much for saving all the weight up there.. just goes to show its meaningless in a roadcar which will most of its life in traffic |

I'm not sure I'd go that far. I've outgrown the "boy-racer" phase of my life, and don't like the GT-R all that much. It's a technologically amazing car, and will kill the M3 on the track, but as you said "its meaningless in a roadcar which will most of its life in traffic." While I'm in that traffic, or just cruising on the highway, I'd take the M3 over the GT-R any day. If I were racing for pink slips on the streets of Tokyo at midnight, then I'd choose the Nissan.
