GOD dam the new STI is ugly

I have seen pictures, but I haven't seen a new one on the road until today. Dude was trying to race me like he had something to prove.. I just let him pass because I felt bad and I couldn't stop laughing on how ugly that car is. Its an ugly monstrosity. Serious that is one of the ugliest vehicles i have seen of new model vehicles i would be embarrassed to be seen driving one. It looks like a Boy racer Mazda 3. (subie)STI took Mazda 3 design put a hood scoop and called it a day

I don't think they are that bad. Looks okay to me. Rear looks more aggressive than previous model.

Minus the altezza style tails, I like the new styling a lot. You'd be embarrassed to be seen in one huh? Maybe the owner feels the same way about being seen in an expensive tC too. It's cool not to like the car and all, but your reply just reinforced the view that BMW drivers are assholes.

^+1. It's sad when you hear people saying that BMW drivers are assholes. It's even sadder when you go on BMW forums, and you see a random post about how ugly another car looks without any reason other than "it's ugly"

He has a point, it is ugly.

I just saw one yesterday and I couldn't help but laugh at how bland it looks in comparison to the hawkeye.

Quad tips! Because you know it needs one per a cyl :P

They do look ugly. I dont think it makes us looks like assholes to think another car is ugly, I mean everyone has cars they think look ugly but just because we drive a more prestigeous/pricey car means we cant say/think what we think is ugly? That doesnt make sense.

I agree it's fugly. I've never liked the looks of the STI, especially when they put the gold wheels on them, I mean are they TRYING to look like crap? But they're quick, you have to give them that.

How does thinking another vehicle is ugly make us assholes? Does owning a BMW suddenly turn every opinion into snobbery?

Come on! it's not an ugly monstrosity,usually there is a resistance to new designs,same also apply to some of BMW's new models.

this is true, most of the newer bmw's are ugly too

I'm not sure I would call it resistance, some people, like me, never like the appearance of a car no matter how long it's been out, if I don't like it when I see it the first time, I don't really change my opinion later

I said usually and most change their opinion later. Where I live I see a lot of those new accord that look like a newer BMW,people seem to like em.They don't think it's ugly or maybe they buy em for the Honda badge.
