I'm not talking about the pre-preg dry carbon. I'm talking about vacuum form dry carbon, like the CF mirror covers. Adamaster knows what I'm talking about. It wouldn't cost 2400 dollars to get one with clear coat like the ACS one. The weave will come out nice, and it will be more rigid than wet laid CF. If the replica was to made in wet carbon, it probably won't come out as nice if the vendor wants to keep the prices down. There's a reason why the 3D spoiler cost that much even as a wet laid piece.

For Vorsteiner VRS trunk, depending on how much / little of carbon you want, no carbon is around 900-1000, 1 sided carbon is around 1200-1400, double sided carbon is about 2K.

The replica one is 695 single-sided carbon.
