They replaced my front brakes last Thursday!! So I drove it from Friday to Monday then had a track evening Monday night which was VERY easy night as track was wet (2.5hrs - approx 4 sessions, around 15 laps each) and my rotors are warping already!?!?!?!? WTF??? 4 days city driving and 1 lapping evening and my $1600 front brakes are going already!!

Do you happen to know the cost breakdown between the rotors, pads, and labour? My previous E39 540i used to cost $850 for front and rear brakes from the dealer. I'm trying to figure out where the extra two grand goes.

Beautiful night on the track last night.
Not a lot of traffic out there, almost seemed like you were driving solo.
New RE-11's really got better as the night went on.
The first 4 or so were a little sketchy.
Thanks for the all of the advice Mike.
There was a GT2 hitting 265km on the front straight.

Honestly it might be worth upgrading the brakes if they cost that much and get messed up so easily.

$6.5k USD for a full set of Brembos so it is not cheap but they are built for racing.

Could be worse, AP Racing set is $10k USD from what I have heard.

I'm heading up to Sylvan later today, however I could do a quick downtown cruise around 2ish. I won't be taking my m3 to sylvan as I need my truck to pull my boat. Let me know if that works for you.

Nd54, brianrg, jason, the rest, try to come for a quick meet somewhere near downtown. Actually I was thinking AliBaba Kabab house on the corner of 17th ave and 14 st SW, there is a decent parking lot beside there.

Yup that was pretty fun,

next time i'll hang out for a little longer. Is anyone in for the weekly exotic meet at Aston Martin of Calgary. We can meet nearby and roll in together. Most of the ferrari/bentley/lambo owners don't really care about m3's but 4-5 of them, maybe
