+1, I had the full system with race cats on my VW R32 and it was really nice. Would be nice though if Milltek provided a Dyno for gains on the M3 setup.

That sounds disturbing if welded. Were they welded or bolted?

And how about drone? I'd like it pretty much as quiet as stock inside the cabin while cruising at highway speeds. And yes, post some video clips man.

This is system is visually perfect, as it'd easily pass for OEM, but much better looking. Am worried about drone as some said (on the English board) that no drone while others a heavy drone until 2,500/2,800 rpm, which would be unacceptable to me. Thanks.

I ordered the new Millteck cat back for my 2009 M3 E92 coupe 2 weeks ago from a distributor in England. It was deliverd in 6 days by UPS with them paying frieght. It cost $1699.00 dilivered to my door. I just had it installed on Friday by my local Muffer Shop. It took about two hours and came out wonderful. The mounting brackets had to be reversed the left to the right to fit the mounting points. It has a wonderful new rumble Not overly loud but noticeable change from stock.

Any pictures or video clips? We have 2 of these systems in stock right now for $1529.10 with free shipping in the lower 48 states. We love the Milltek quality, very nice parts and excellent sound!

Haven't you installed one locally that you could contact the owner? I'm very interested, but want to hear sound clips, as well as an unbiased 'dB/drone vs stock' interior sound comparison. Thx.

Im curious about the drone issue too. I had the Milltek system on my e46 M3 and it was very boomy and droned badly.

We do not do any installs at our retail location except the Volkswagen/Audi ECU tuning at this time. I've emailed Milltek for some sound clips or video clips.

In fact it's still probably a little too quiet for me so I'm probably going to do a cat/reso delete to spice it up a bit. I'll post pics and vid this weekend when I take it out of the garage.

One distributor just received a few systems this past week and by complete coincidence I was doing s search to see if they released the system yet and came across the guys selling them. There are only a few reportedly shipped to the states and I was told I would be the first person in the US to have one installed. I should have it by Wednesday and installed by the weekend. Milltek didn't provide a dyno but here is what I was told about the system: +15hp, weight of 20kg, about 15% louder than stock with a nice refined growl, and louder scream at higher RPMs and minimal cabin intrusion. The guy at Milltek said the sound is similar to an RS4 with the valves open, but obviously a little different given the engine design. It's a full stainless bolt-on system with a lifeime warranty and from the pics I've seen so far and the quality of their products for other cars, I'm pretty pumped. Will post pics and sound clips when it's ready to roll.
Hello Rfoss,

I have a milltek exhaust, fitted in my m3 3 weeks ago, but I a little unhappy with the sound, too quiet. At the garage, they suggest me to remove the resonators. Could you tell me what do you think about it? And if is it possible send me a video.
My email is miguelpellicercatala@gmail.com

Thanks a lot
