1965 Covair sedan 4 door automatic,purchased used in 1966. Burgundy with black interior.`Engine in the rear, 102 hp. Used more oil than`gas. Engine mounts failed and engine fell out. Sold in 1967.Maybe that was the beginning of GM's fall.

1976 Opel Rekord, blue w/ black vinyl top, black vinyl seats, 4 speed manual trans and one speaker mounted in the center of the dash. Would do 170 km/h on the Autobahn (downhill with tailwind).

When I was in highschool there was this really funny guy that came in one day telling everyone that he had been working and saving his money for years and had just bought a vette. Everyone was really impressed - until we went out to the parking lot and saw his Chevette. It's only because he was funny that we didn't beat the hell out him.
