Carry Gun for the Car

I was wondering if anybody else on this Forum carried and planned to have a gun in the car with them, I've got this P7M8 little beauty and have easily fallen in love with it. The one series reminds me abit itself of this particular gun, small and compact but powerful and elegant. Post your pics

Expecting to repel boarders anytime soon? The only weapons appropriate in a vehicle are ones you carry to work or recreation.

My wife has to drive through a "not so good" part of town to get home from work and she had a group of 4 people try to get in the car (the 135i) while she was stopped at a red light one night. Luckily a cop rolled up behind her and they bolted...

I am not sure where to put a weapon, the center console is not an option, the glovebox is small and inconvenient and there is a sub under the seat. Guess I will have to put a lift kit on it and mount a slewable underslung 30mm.

I feel sorry for anyone who lives in a country where they need to have a gun...

Americans carry guns so that Canadians don't have to. That being said this is a topic that would only get started in America.

Wasn't trying to get anybody upset, figured would be some gun enthusiast on the forum since there's so many Car ones. Appreciation of finely machined tool's goes hand in hand. Be nice if we lived in a world where it was not sometimes necessary, and I hope everyday not to ever have to use my weapon. But much better to think that then to regret not having one in a situation where somebody or myself died because of lack of protection. I certainly respect everybody else's opinion.

Americans carry guns because we can, lets see a Canadian stop us from doing so. I also feel sorry for a country where they speak French and everything is taxed up the AZZ. So go smoke a maple leaf! I came to the US from a communist country where nobody had any freedom. Im glad I live in a country where I have the power to do what I want, when I want, and to whom I want. Plus we are buying your oil, so shut the hell up about guns. Sorry strong supporter of NRA. JK

The effective range of a knife is too close for my taste, plus never bring a knife to a gun fight.

Don't see the problem with the legal owning of a gun. It was written in our Constitution over 230 years ago and has been that way since. Better to have a gun and not need it then need it and not have one(just like condoms! ).

It isn't a necessity to own a firearm in the U.S., but I would request anyone with the proper training and a level head do so. I used to frequent a mall in a safe part of Omaha Nebraska that had a shooting not to long ago where several died.

Unfortunately none of the victims felt the need to carry a weapon that day. The killer was an untrained kid who would have died quickly in a fight with someone who had a minimal amount of firearm training.

You may never feel the need to carry a firearm until you are bleeding to death or watching your wife/grandma/loved one bleeding to death on the floor of some public place. I however will do my best to ensure that day never comes.

I know the chances are slim to none, but I also do my best not to get struck by lightning.

i used to be a liberal, but i am becoming more pro-gun.

I don't own one, but I like that I have the freedom to do so if I choose. With the extra money we save over Canadians, maybe I will add an a 9mm to my added accessories!:middlefin

agreed, but considering i live in a relatively safe place and the fact that a knife is easier to conceal, i'm not to worry bout the fight.
